First Loves Blogfest

Hello peeps.  I'm gona keep this nice and short because I'm not feeling too great today.  I know, excuses excuses!  I wana say thanks though for you all still popping by and commenting even though I've not been over to your blogs.  I really appreciate it, so thanks you gorgeous lovelies! :)

And thanks you also to Alex for this great blogfest.

First Film:

E.T.  I remember when I was really really small, so small it was just me and my sis, not brother or lil sis, so I was probably about 5.  We were at the zoo, we hadn't been there long when our Dad asked if we'd rather stay at the zoo, or go home to watch E.T.  Obviously we chose E.T!

First Music:

Meatloaf.  Everything about this music is amazing, the songs are so theatrical, and the lyrics blow me away!  And the videos, oh my god!  I really have no words haha.

First Book:

Now, I don't remember the name of the book I first fell in love with, but I do know it's very popular, and there is a toad in it.  I think he maybe was a bit of a mean snob, but he has a nice friend.  There might be a thief and a car?  I'm sure the toad could drive!  Do you know the book I'm on about?  From that description probably not huh?

First Person:

Apart from my gorgeous baby sister, who is 7 and hates it when I call her that, the first person I fell in love with, or had a crush on, was the one and only Bruce Willis.  I can't remember what I first saw him in, but I do remember thinking I must be really sick for having a crush on someone when I was so young!  And he is still so hot!

For some reason I never expected you to be a Meatloaf fan. Meatloaf is awesome!

Is the book you are talking about The Wind in the Willows?

I think Jeremy nailed the book. And Bruce Willis! He'll be happy to hear that.
Thanks for participating in my blogfest.

Lovely posting on the First Loves. I recently caught a story about Meatloaf on the bio channel and agree he is theatrical I think that's why ppl still love his music today. :) Great posting and sorry I am not sure of the book you are referring to to help you.

I always think of the phrase: E.T.phone home.

Do you have any idea what the "that" stands for in Meatloaf's popular song "I will do anything for love but I won't do that..." ?

A young Bruce Willis - yes.
He's not ageing very well...

Wow. ET, Meatloaf, and Bruce Willis...you've got some awesome taste! :)

This was a great firsts post.

E.T. was my movie choice too! Although I came to love Meatload later in life, I didn't know who he was as a child. Bruce Willis is a very good looking man, I admit

Gotta love the Willis man. Yippee-kay-yay!

I can go for younger Bruce, for sure! Nice picks :)

LOL. Bruce Willis is a great first love!

The first time my sister and I watched ET, we cried a lot - enough that we decided we never wanted to watch the movie again. Not entirely logical, since the crying only happened because the movie was so good!

Meatloaf, on the other hand, I not discovered in the last five years, but I have listened to many times :)

Bruce Willis. I agree. Still hot.
