I Got Some New Shinies

I'm currently sipping tea from my new fave cup!  The money I got from the government the other week has allowed me to treat myself a lil. It's been so long since I got myself anything - been off work sick for the past two years -  so I decided to get a few things that I've been wanting for ages, instead of spending it all on crap I need like I normally would do.  I did almost do that but then my best mate moaned at me and she has this really evil look when she gets all bossy, I don't like evil so I did as I was told!  I didn't spend it all on me though, half when towards bills and stocking me cupboards,  I've put some aside to treat my girly friends to a day out, and also kept some for my lil sis.  Gona take her shopping, it will be so much fun.  I love going shopping with her coz she gets as excited as I do, and it's an excuse for me to buy toys and pretty dolls hehe.

Captain America lives again - because I gave him the kiss of life.  Yeah I did!

So what did I get? Well I finally got round to subscribing to Empire magazine.  I've been putting it off because £40 is a lot of money to spend at once when you have no tea bags, and tea must come first!  I'm glad I waited though coz check the free gift I got with my subscription.  A groovy tee which is too big, but will be handy for the night time, and a sweet cup!  Of course I got myself a kindle.  I see it as an investment in my book reading future.  Normally I can only afford books when I've saved up enough points from doing boring online surveys, lame I know!  But now I have me this shiny kindle, I can get tonnes of free books, many which are on my tbr list - really been getting into the classics lately - and books are cheaper in kindle version. Plus of course I wana save  trees!

I also got myself a tonne of beauty products, enough to last quite a while.  I love trying new products, and have subscribed to some beauty boxes as well.  My friends are gona love me again coz I always pass the stuff that's no use to me onto them.  Has anyone got a shiny memory foam mattress?  I got me a topper, and oh my god, it's like sleeping in heaven!  My bedroom is now my new fave room.  My best buy though is my shiny new camera.  I'm so freaking excited, love taking pics.  I've never actually owned a digital camera so I'm still figuring out how to work all the thingymabobs, but the above pics look better then anything I could take on my phone.  The pics are dark coz the curtains are closed, I can't open them - don't ask.  So many settings, I will spend the next few days figuring it all out.

Anyway I've been rambling enough and me cuppa needs refilled.  Before I go though, you know what I found out the other day?  Us brits get to see the Avengers a whole week before you gorgeous Americans do.  Muahahaha suckers!
